The Learning Center

Experience Berkeley Hall’s Golf Learning Center – the crown jewel of our practice facility.  The product of extensive research and brainstorming by a panel of golf experts, our 33-acre facility has developed the reputation as one of the finest learning centers in the world today.

Practice Where
the Pros practice.

PGA Tour players have called the Learning Center among the world’s best. The beautifully designed state-of-the-art center includes 4 climate-controlled hitting bays, a "super bay" with the latest swing analytics technology such as TrackMan 4, a mobile canopy structure allowing practice regardless of weather, a short game complex, with 4 full size practice greens complete with replica practice bunkers, and a Tru-Putt carpet indoor putting area with mirrors and Sam PuttLab system.

Award-Winning
Instruction.

When it comes to golf instruction, Krista Dunton is top in her field.  The Senior Instructor at Berkeley Hall’s Learning Center is widely recognized as one of the best teachers in the game. A former LPGA “National Teacher of the Year,” Krista holds the distinction of being listed multiple times as a “Top 100 Instructor” and “Top 100 Teachers in America” by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest.   Krista is also featured on Time, Inc.’s “Golf Fix Finder” App, offering innovative fault–diagnosing technology.

Specialty Clinics to Transform Your Game.

Former #1 players on the LPGA Stacy Lewis and current #1 Lydia Ko credit AimPoint for their success as does Adam Scott and the 30 other PGA players currently utilizing the cutting-edge technology.  At the Learning Center, AimPoint Green Reading is among Berkeley Hall’s roster of clinics along with Swing Catalyst, Full Swing and Short Game clinics.

Complimentary Swing Clinics:  All members are invited to complimentary weekly swing clinics held by our world-class golf professional staff every Tuesday and Friday.

You’ll find golf instruction in our parkland setting is among the many reasons Berkeley Hall has attained the highest level of membership satisfaction among peer golf communities.  And our temperate climate makes it easy to play year-round, just another reason our Lowcountry setting in Bluffton, SC, was voted among the “25 Best Places to Retire in 2016” by Forbes magazine.

The Fazio Room

Golfers looking for a place to relax in between practice sessions can enjoy the well-appointed Fazio Room, a comfortable and inviting spaces integral to the Learning Center complex.  Named for our "core course" designer, Tom Fazio, who envisioned a welcoming place to relax and socialize.

Men’s Locker Room

There’s a reason the Men’s Locker Room at Berkeley Hall was voted among “America’s 50 Greatest Golf Locker Rooms” by Golf Digest. In the great room overlooking the North's 9th and 18th, warm wooden tones and oversized leather chairs set the ambiance for relaxed socializing. A fully staffed gentleman’s bar makes it a great spot for a post round lunch; a full wall of flatscreens for avid sports viewing or catching the news makes it a favorite gathering place to catch up on world affairs.
