One of the Top Amateur Events in the Nation...

The 18th annual Players Amateur, recognized as one of the premier amateur events in the U.S., returns July 11-16 to Berkeley Hall Club’s South Course. All participants will be competing for an exemption into the 2018 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, South Carolina’s only PGA Tour event.

The Players Amateur alumni have distinguished themselves in the world of professional golf. More than 30 are now playing on the PGA Tour, including tour stars Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Rogers, Bill Haas, Lucas Glover, Ben Curtis, Camilo Villegas, Nick Watney, Kyle Stanley and more.

Players begin arriving on Tuesday, July 11 with practice rounds played Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. The Contestant-Amateur Shootout is Wednesday morning and competition runs from Thursday through Sunday.

There are several levels of sponsorship that offer the opportunity to play in the Contestant-Amateur Shootout. It is a great opportunity to play golf with the best amateurs in the world and chance to create a relationship with a young man who could become a future PGA TOUR star.

Since its inception, the driving force behind the Heritage Classic Foundation has been to improve lives. Every dollar of profit generated by the RBC Heritage and The Players Amateur is distributed to charitable organizations.

The tournament is open to the public and admission is free. For a complete schedule and sponsorship information, visit playersam.com.
