Membership Opportunities

Berkeley Hall is an award-winning, member-owned and operated private golf community that sets the standard for all private golf communities. The Club is in strong financial condition with no debt and a large capital reserve.

NON-EQUITY MEMBERSHIP OFFERINGS

1) New National Memberships* ~ We have recently announced a National Membership Plan for families who reside outside a 75-mile radius of the Club. The Plan as outlined below includes the following:

  • Applicant's primary residence must be > 75 miles from the Club
  • Initiation Fee: $5,000
  • 2013 Annual Dues: $6,200/year
  • Family membership offers unlimited use of all facilities and dining at the Club for the entire year with guest privileges
  • 30 days of golf/adult/year {*Participation in golf tournaments, special events and reciprocal programs are not charged against the 30 days/year}
  • Children must play with a parent and their round is not charged against the 30 days/year
  • Initiation fee is credited towards future purchase of property if applicable

2) New Individual Memberships* ~ In addition to the National Membership Plan, we've recently announced a new Individual Membership Plan. The Plan as outlined below includes the following:

  • Initiation Fee: $10,000
  • 2013 Annual Dues: $10,350/year
  • Individual membership offers unlimited and unrestricted use of all Club facilities with guest privileges
  • Spouse and Children have unlimited use of all facilities with the exception of golf
  • Initiation fee is credited towards future purchase of property or conversion to Regular Associate Membership {if applicable}

3) Regular Associate Membership offers full use of all facilities for the family. The Member is required to pay an Initiation Fee of $15,000 and 2013 Annual Dues of $15,930. The Heads of Household and all children under the age of 25 years are included in the membership.

4) Intermediate Associate Membership offers membership to individuals under the age of 46 years of age. This Member pays 70% of the Initiation fee {$10,500} and Annual Dues of a Regular Associate Membership {$11,150 in 2013} until a person in the household turns 46 years of age. At that time, the Intermediate Associate Membership must convert the membership to a Regular Associate membership.

5) Corporate Associate Membership offers full use of facilities for three individuals that are designated by the Corporation. These member designations can be changed on an annual basis to suit the needs of the Corporation. The cost of membership is a $30,000 initiation and payment of $31,860 Annual Dues.

EQUITY MEMBERSHIP OFFERINGS

1) Property Ownership includes full equity membership whether purchasing a cottage, Carolina Lifestyle home, Estate home or undeveloped home site. Home prices start in the low $300s with an initiation fee of $13,800.

2) Non-Property Owner Memberships are available for those who prefer to have an equity interest in the club with voting privileges.

*All plans require a three (3) year commitment, however, the initiation fee is waived with a four (4) year commitment.
